Terms of Service

Legal document applying to every Nova4K subscription in Canada.

Welcome to Nova4K ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our IPTV subscription service at nova4k.ca ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Nova4K provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service delivering live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription. Installation is documented on our installation guide.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, complete and current information when ordering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in Canada, to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscription Plans & Payment

Nova4K offers subscription terms of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, plus a discounted introductory 1-month plan for new customers. Current prices for every plan are displayed on our pricing page and at checkout.

  • All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) at checkout.
  • Subscriptions are activated immediately upon payment confirmation.
  • Payments are processed securely. Nova4K does not store payment card details.
  • Subscriptions do not renew automatically unless this is explicitly stated at checkout.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service delivers digital content immediately:

  • No refunds are issued after account activation.
  • Exceptions apply only where (a) a verified service outage exceeds 72 consecutive hours, in which case a pro-rata credit may be issued, or (b) a duplicate charge is confirmed, which is refunded in full.
  • Refund requests must be submitted to [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must NOT:

  • Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your account credentials to any third party.
  • Use the Service to broadcast, publicly display or re-stream content.
  • Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protections or authentication systems.
  • Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that breaches any applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
  • Use the Service to access content in regions where such access is prohibited.

Breach of these terms results in immediate account termination without refund. If you wish to sell subscriptions legitimately, apply through our reseller programme.

6. Device Limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; Nova4K does not provide support for third-party applications.

7. Service Availability

Nova4K maintains a target of 99.9% uptime. We do not, however, guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance, announced in advance where possible
  • Unplanned technical incidents
  • Disruption at third-party content providers
  • Force majeure events

Nova4K is not liable for interruptions outside our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual Property

All content delivered through the Service — live channels, video on demand, logos and EPG data — remains the property of its respective owners and licensors. Nova4K claims no ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The Nova4K name, logo and website design are our property and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by contacting [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVA4K SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted at nova4k.ca/terms.html with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
