Questions About Nova4K IPTV
Twelve straight answers to the questions our Canadian customers actually ask. If yours is not here, the team replies on WhatsApp within minutes.
IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television. Instead of arriving through a satellite dish, a coaxial cable or a rooftop antenna, television is delivered over your ordinary internet connection. Live channels, films and series are streamed to an app on a device you already own.
In practice this means no installer appointment, no dish on the wall and no rented set-top box. If your broadband can carry a video call, it can carry Nova4K.
IBO Player, and only IBO Player. We support one application deliberately: it lets our support team give precise instructions instead of guessing at a dozen different interfaces, and IBO Player runs on almost every platform including Samsung and LG televisions that most players cannot reach.
Our full walkthrough is on the installation guide.
Roku is a capable streaming device, but it is the least convenient choice for IPTV. Here is the honest picture:
In its favour: Roku is inexpensive, quick to set up, and its playback is smooth and reliable.
Against it: Roku does not natively support M3U playlist files, which is the format IPTV services use. There is no IBO Player build for Roku, and Roku's platform heavily restricts side-loaded applications. The usual workaround is screen mirroring from a phone or PC, which is awkward for daily viewing.
Our recommendation: use a Fire TV Stick, an Android TV box, a MAG box, or a Samsung or LG television. Every one of those runs IBO Player natively.
One. Each Nova4K subscription authorises a single device, and simultaneous streaming on a second screen is not permitted. This is how we keep bandwidth per line high and picture quality consistent across 4K feeds.
If you need a second television, order a second subscription. If you want multiple lines to sell on, see our reseller programme.
You get the complete Nova4K grid on every plan — nothing is reserved for the longer terms. That includes local and international channels covering sport, news, film and general entertainment; premium movie and sports networks; the full on-demand library; event and pay-per-view style broadcasts; league packages; and the regional groups listed on our channel page.
What we will not claim is that literally every channel on earth is included. If one specific network is the reason you are switching, ask us first and we will check it against today's line-up.

Yes, with an HDMI splitter — and this does not breach the one-device rule, because it is still a single device and a single stream.
What you need: your streaming box, one HDMI splitter with one input and two outputs, and two HDMI cables.
Steps: connect the box to the splitter input, run a cable from each splitter output to a television, then set both televisions to the correct HDMI source.
The trade-off: both screens show exactly the same channel at the same time, because there is only one stream. Picture quality stays at up to 4K on both.
Most lines are live within 15 minutes of payment confirmation, and we have never needed more than a few hours. Your credentials, playlist details and a link to the installation guide are emailed as soon as the account is provisioned.
Orders placed overnight are handled overnight — our support rota covers 24 hours a day.
A stable 25 Mbps connection comfortably handles HD and most Ultra HD feeds. For consistent 4K on live sport we recommend 35 Mbps or better.
Speed is less important than stability. A wired Ethernet cable will always outperform Wi-Fi on a 4K stream, and it is the single most effective fix for occasional stuttering.
Subscriptions are final once the line is activated, because access to the content is immediate. There are two defined exceptions: a verified outage on our infrastructure lasting more than 72 consecutive hours qualifies for a pro-rata credit, and a duplicate charge is refunded in full.
The complete terms are set out in our refund policy. This is exactly why the CA$10.99 introductory month exists — it lets you see the service on your own television before committing to a year.
No. Nothing renews by itself and we do not store your card details. When your term ends the line simply stops, and you choose whether to start another one.
We send a courtesy reminder a few days before expiry so nothing goes dark mid-match. Renewals are handled from the order page, same as a first purchase.
